The Toa Payoh East CCC Welfare Committee brought early Christmas cheers to 120 needy elderly in the constituency with "The Spirit of Giving 2008". The event was held on sunday 21/12/2008 at the Toa Payoh South Community Club.
Mrs Josephine Teo, M.P. for Bishan - Toa Payoh GRC and Advisor to Bishan - Toa Payoh GROs (Toa Payoh East) graced the event as Guest-of-Honour.
The even was supported by Vounteers-In-Action of Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. The group donated 120 food hampers which were later distributed to the needy elderly.
The VIA of Infineon also gave away lucky draw prizes comprising umbrellas and NTUC vouchers.
